Fall Mountain Food Shelf A FALL MOUNTAIN FRIENDLY MEALS PROGRAM
Volunteers Needed
All three of our programs, Fall Mountain Food Shelf, Friendly Meals and Meals On Wheels rely entirely on our corp of dependable volunteers. We have drivers who move food supplies to and from the Food Shelf in Langdon. Food supplies are delivered to our kitchen in Alstead in order that a mid day meal is served at the Alstead Firestation. Volunteer drivers are also essential to the operation of Meals On Wheels. Not only do they transport food to people who are "shut-in" but they offer a kind word, a short visit and perhaps relay a message of a need for further assistance to other community service agencies.
Volunteers prepare food and cook meals, set up and take down eating areas, serve food, fundraise and so much more.
If you would like to volunteer with one of the Fall Mountain Friendly Meals programs, please see the Contact Us page and get in touch. We'd be happy to hear from you!
